From the moment we receive a request from your doctor for a treatment to be administered in one of our infusion sites, a well-organized process starts in our office. This process is established so that your treatment is promptly ordered with all proper checks and safety procedures as well as pertinent diagnostic codes in place, and so that the actual fully written treatment plan is submitted for review and approval by your doctor. The plan is also sent to your insurer for proper review and authorization, and our counselors will also assist you addressing any financial questions or challenges. Our treatment team, meanwhile, reviews the treatment plan and prepares to go over all details of the treatment with you and answer any questions you may have. This experienced treatment team will provide both verbal and written information to you and make sure you understand the treatment well and are fully comfortable with it before it starts. Once you receive your first treatment with us and each time we treat you thereafter, we promptly send a progress letter to your doctor explaining the treatment given, the date of the treatment, and the date of your next scheduled treatment if applicable. We are always available to your doctors and their staff and to you for any questions you may have before, during or after your treatments. Our authorizations team, our nurses, our doctors and the entire treatment team are literally on the same page because all pertinent information about your treatment plan is kept on the same electronic document. So, as you can see, we communicate with you, your doctor, your insurer, and importantly, among ourselves so that we are all on the same page. We get excellent feedback from the doctors who refer patients to us because they like the fact that they are always updated in real time about your treatments.
